A disused storeroom has been converted into an internet café at Alvingham Village Hall. Alvingham is a small village 4 miles North East of Louth with a population of 256
The café is open
Tuesdays 13:30 to 15:30 & 19:30 to 21:30
Thursdays 15:30 to 17:30
Fridays 19:30 to 21:30
The café is manned by volunteers and aims to provide a range of services to the village including
- Internet access including e-mail, webcam and blogging facilities
- Basic tuition in utilising both hardware, software and communications equipment.
- Tuition in various software applications e.g. MS Office, audio/video, drawing and paint programs.
- Enhancing/updating the village hall website
- Creating a forum for the local community to develop the facility for the future.
