The Community Lincs Cluster Groups aim to provide an additional level of support and “self help” for village halls and community centres across the county.
Village Halls who have been involved in their local cluster group have found that informally meeting together to share ideas and to learn from expert speakers has been of immense benefit. Visit the documents section by clicking on the link above to find out how we have divided the clusters.
Why Join A Cluster?
1. We are told it’s good to talk, Sharing a problem with others in a similar situation can often produce simple solutions.
2. It is often cheaper to buy in bulk. Many halls have asked that the Community Council create a bulk purchase oil scheme. This would be a massive undertaking for the whole county but smaller clusters could easily organise themselves to take advantage of this idea. Other bulk purchases could include tables, chairs and other equipment.
3. Share equipment. Expensive items such as floor polishers, carpet cleaners and disco equipment could be purchased jointly and shared
4. The internet is becoming a part of most homes and diaries of local events could be kept and information shared by creating an E-Group for the cluster.
