The Lincolnshire Compact is a partnership to promote positive working relationships between voluntary, community, and statutory sector organisations.

The aim of the Compact is to promote good working relationships and practices that will:

* Promote better co-ordinated services

* Improve the quality of life for people in Lincolnshire

* Improve understanding between sectors, of each others values and ways of working.

Further information about the principles of the Lincolnshire Compact can be found in the Documents section of this website or at www.compactlincs.co.uk

Community Lincs supports the Lincolnshire Compact

Community Lincs continues to work to support the Lincolnshire Compact and to encourage the groups and organisations with which we work to do the same.

Community Lincs are currently:

* Providing all Village Halls with information about the Lincolnshire Compact

* Giving presentations about the Lincolnshire Compact to all Village Hall Cluster Groups

* Training all members of our Fieldwork Team in the principles of Compact, so that they are able to spread the word amongst the groups they work with

* Promoting the Lincolnshire Compact on the Community Lincs website, through Rural Lincs, monthly e-bulletins and via the Village Halls e-group.

* Community Lincs have signed up to the Compact and Amy Nichols, Operations Manager, sits on the Compact working group as Co-Chair

In addition, Community Lincs have added the Compact to their new Village Hall & Community Centre Quality Standards Awards Scheme.  In future, in order to achieve a Silver Award, halls must sign up to the principles of the Lincolnshire Compact.
