Printer Friendly Version (opens in new window)Village halls play a vital part in village life, whether this is as a place for mums and tots to meet, or as somewhere where post office services can be run, their role is much valued and your work as a local volunteer is held in high esteem.
Community Lincs has supported Lincolnshire halls and their management committees for over 80 years. During this time our staff have delivered high quality advice and support that has helped many hall committees to develop new facilities, draw down funding and support their volunteers.
In 2008 alone we responded to almost 300 requests for help from halls with topics as diverse as health and safety, funding advice, employment law and lease agreements. A recent survey carried out with our service users found that 90% of the village hall management committees surveyed were very / satisfied with Community Lincs support. Comments received included:
‘The officer was very helpful; we are very pleased with support – always very thorough advice; always helpful, approachable and supportive; very pleased with our help over the years’.
The 2009/2010 affiliation year began on 1st April 2009, at a cost of £45.00 (£40.00 if your hall has received a Village Hall Quality Award).
