Also during August the judging will take place for the Past Winners award, where those small and medium size villages that have won their class in the past four years take part, the villages are:-

The final of the Small Market Towns competition will to be judged in August, the finalists are:
| Caistor (West Lindsey) |
| Crowland (South Holland) |
| Holbeach (South Holland) |
| Horcastle (East Lindsey) |
The competition is organised by Teresa Palmer of Community Lincs, and is run in partnership with the Lincolnshire Branch of CPRE, with continued sponsorship from, the District Councils, Lincolnshire County Council and Pennells Garden Centres.
There are five categories - Class 1 (Population 100 - 500), Class 2 (Population 501 - 2000), Class 3 (Population 2,001 - 7,000), Class 4 Small Market Towns (Up to a population of 7,000) and a Past Winners' class.
